With the year winding down and the energy of the 10th annual Extraordinary Women Ignite Conference still glowing, I’ve been reflecting on the fullness of it all. Ignite requires such focus to bring it to life every year, and it’s only once it’s over that I can finally take a breath. This year, that pause happened right as election season reached its peak, and like many of you, I felt the weight of all the noise, intensity, and emotions.
So, I listened to what I needed most. I took time to rest, reconnect, and indulge in the simple joys—moments in the barn with my new horse, Thor; woodland walks with my dogs; laughing over comedy movies with my husband; gathering with friends and family. Just being.
And in this pause, clarity found me. I felt re-energized, excited to welcome new clients who have joined my programs this past month, excited for upcoming projects, and yes, still brimming with questions: Are there new paths I should explore? Am I being called to lead in new ways?
After sitting with these questions, I returned to my purpose with certainty: My role is to raise up women’s voices, helping each of you build a life-fulfilling, lucrative business rooted in your own wisdom. I believe our messages and our stories—our ways of doing business—are more than just a path to success; they’re essential to the world around us. We’re here to change the game.
Our messages, our stories, and the ways we build our businesses aren’t just personal pursuits; they’re catalysts for change in a world that needs our voices. Women’s wisdom brings something unique to the table—intuition, compassion, a sense of interconnectedness, and a willingness to lead with heart and vision. In a business landscape that has often prioritized profit over purpose, we’re showing a new path forward.
Each of us carries a message that can inspire, empower, and uplift others. Our stories are the medicine that challenges outdated norms, breaks barriers, and opens doors for more inclusive, mindful, and impactful growth. By embracing our own voices and values, we’re not just changing the way we work; we’re redefining what business can be. We’re making room for innovation that serves the greater good, for success that feels authentic, and for impact that echoes far beyond the bottom line.
All of this is so important right now. I invite you to consider the importance of your own work. When I think about the roles each of us play in this journey, I know that I am here to be a Guide. Perhaps for you, it’s something different. Maybe you are a Healer, bringing compassion and care that help others restore and rebuild. Maybe you’re a Rule Breaker, shaking up the status quo and boldly clearing the path for a new way forward. Or perhaps you’re a Visionary, casting a light on what could be and inspiring others to dream bigger. You might be a Storyteller, weaving narratives that connect, uplift, and bring meaning.
There are so many ways we can make a difference. Knowing our unique role helps us bring our gifts forward with intention. As for me, guiding women to raise up their voices, to stand out with clarity, and to build something that matters has always been about the ripple effect. Recognizing this role fuels my fire and keeps me focused on the impact I want to create.
