Every once in a while, I pause and take in the view of the women around me. Not my own work, but the work unfolding through the women in my community. Watching women step fully into their light may be one of the greatest privileges of the work I get to do.
Over the past few months, I’ve been noticing something beautiful happening across my clients and community. There is a momentum building as women claim their voice, refine their work, and step forward with the ideas they are here to lead. It feels like the quiet beginnings of movements taking shape through individual women who are choosing to bring their work forward in a bigger way.
Recently, two of my mastermind clients became Top 10 finalists in the North America’s Greatest Speaker Contest (Congrats, Karrie Mitten and Michelle Fournier!). Another woman who attended our Soul Speaks from the Stage training last summer just made the Top 10 for the 2026 competition (Congrats Kerry Borcherding!). And notably, the winner of the 2025 North America’s Greatest Speaker Contest had attended our Soul Speaks from the Stage just one month before stepping into the competition. (Congrats, Joya Sosnowski!).
Watching women step forward onto bigger stages and speak their truth never gets old. When a woman becomes known for her voice and perspective, something larger begins to form around her work. Ideas begin to travel. Conversations begin to grow. A message starts to move through the world.
But the speaking wins are only one piece of what I’ve been witnessing.
I’ve watched several women refine their offerings so they more clearly reflect the work they are truly here to do. Two of my clients recently redesigned their program to create a more aligned high-end VIP experience. Within a short period of time they welcomed two new clients into that program. Another client built a high-value agency proposal that we carefully structured to deliver extraordinary impact while maintaining clear scope and boundaries. She landed the project.
These moments are not simply business wins. They are signs that a woman is stepping into leadership of her work in a deeper way. When that happens, the business begins to move with greater clarity and direction.
I’m also seeing women step into deeper thought leadership within their industries. Two of my clients followed the lead of the listening campaign I conducted last year. They went into their own markets, interviewed their communities, and created thoughtful insight reports that are already positioning them as leading voices in their fields.
Thought leadership has a way of gathering people around an idea. When a woman articulates what she sees clearly enough, others begin to recognize themselves in that perspective. That is often where movements begin.
I’m also watching ideas take shape in ways that will reach far beyond a single business. One client, Chris Johnson is preparing to release a new book in April, The Leadership Pause Book of Practices, that captures the wisdom she has developed through years in the field of conscious leadership. Books have a unique way of carrying ideas further than the original conversation. They allow a perspective to travel, to reach new audiences, and often to gather people around an idea in ways that begin shaping something larger.
Some of the most meaningful shifts I see happen after a woman has moved through a season of deep internal growth. That season can feel messy while you are inside it. There are questions, recalibrations, and moments of uncertainty. But when women move through that metamorphosis and come out the other side, they often begin delivering their work at an entirely new level of clarity and leadership.
That clarity has a magnetic quality to it. People begin to gather around the work.
I’m also continually inspired by the sparks that begin as quiet ideas and grow into something much larger.
One long-time client, Janine Vanderburg, had an idea spark during Ignite last year. That idea is now becoming a storytelling initiative called Build Your Own Boat™, focused on women who began businesses in midlife and beyond not by accident or as a hobby, but as a deliberate and courageous choice about how they wanted to shape the next chapter of their lives.
Another client has stepped into courageous leadership in her community, organizing a local group where women gather to speak openly about the issues that matter and use their voices to create change. Another is leading legislative change within her industry and building a broader advocacy movement. One woman is creating a conference for women working in mergers and acquisitions. Another is building a platform to shine a spotlight on some of Colorado’s leading women and the important work they are bringing into the world.
Where Movements Begin
And these are only a handful of the stories.
What strikes me most is not any one accomplishment. It is the collective rising that happens when women begin standing fully in their work and their leadership. When one woman steps forward and shares her ideas, it opens the door for others to do the same.
Often, there comes a moment when a woman realizes the idea she has been carrying may actually be meant for a larger audience. It is the moment when she stops holding back and begins allowing her voice and her work to be seen.
And when that happens, something shifts.
Her work stops being just a business. It begins to take on the shape of a movement.
A movement might be a body of work that changes how people think about a topic. It might be a platform that lifts other women. It might be a conversation that begins reshaping an industry. It might be a project that gives voice to stories that have not yet been heard.
Movements rarely begin with grand declarations. They begin when a woman decides to fully stand behind the work she feels called to lead.
This is the kind of leadership I care deeply about nurturing.

And I feel incredibly grateful to have a front row seat as these extraordinary women continue stepping into their light and leading the movements that are emerging through their work.
