Last week, we entered the year of the Fire Horse, and I can feel something meaningful moving through this moment in time.
It has been sixty years since we last experienced a Fire Horse year. I am turning sixty-three soon, and that timing has not been lost on me. I find myself reflecting on the arc of a lifetime. The experiences gathered. The wisdom earned. The seasons of building, learning, refining, and becoming.
There is a part of me that feels, very simply, that many of us were made for this time.
Not by accident or chance. But because of everything we have lived, navigated, and created over the years. The resilience we developed. The perspective we gained. The voice we slowly learned to trust. It feels as though so much of what we have been building within ourselves has been preparing us to meet this moment fully.
So what does it mean to live into a Fire Horse year? How do we take advantage of the breakthrough energy of the shift we are in?
For me, it comes down to a few very grounded ways of moving forward.
1. Act on what is already clear
This is not a year that asks you to search endlessly for answers. It is a year to move on what you already know.
For many of us, what is ready now did not appear overnight. It has been shaped through years of experience, reflection, and becoming. You may notice places in your life or work that feel quietly prepared. Places where something has matured, deepened, or settled into its natural form.
This is a year to move with what has ripened over time. To give form to what has already been growing within you.
Choose one of those places and take the next real step. Not planning. Not researching. Action.
2. Let your experience lead
Many of us have spent decades building wisdom through lived experience. This is a year to trust that experience as guidance.
Often what helps most is simply having space to hear ourselves more clearly. Space to recognize the patterns we have lived. Space for the wisdom that is already present to come forward and be trusted.
Let your decisions reflect the woman you are now, not the woman you were when you first started building.
3. Step out boldly in your voice and visibility
There are moments in time when holding back no longer feels right. This is one of them. Women’s wisdom is the medicine our earth needs, and what you carry is not meant to stay contained. It is meant to be expressed, shared, and brought forward in visible ways.
Step forward and let yourself be seen. Speak what you know. Share the work that matters. Bring your wisdom into the conversations, communities, and spaces shaping the future. This is a moment to stand fully in your voice and participate in what comes next.
What I am describing here is not something I am observing from a distance. I am watching it unfold in real time in the women I work alongside every day.
Inside my Movement Maker Mastermind community, I see women recognizing what is ready and taking aligned action. I see them trusting the wisdom that has been shaped through decades of experience. I see them stepping into voice and visibility in ways that feel honest, grounded, and unmistakably aligned with who they are as leaders today.
And when they do, something shifts. Their work becomes clearer. Their presence carries more weight. Their decisions create momentum because they are coming from a place that is deeply rooted and fully lived. And they begin attracting more aligned clients who can feel that certainty.
This is what the shift looks like when it moves from insight into action. When it becomes something you embody, express, and build from.
The Fire Horse year is not simply something to reflect on. It is something to live into. A moment to bring forward what has been forming within you for years. A moment to let your wisdom take its rightful place in the work you are here to do and the impact you are here to make.
