Alyse Nelson: President and CEO of Vital Voices – 024

Following the calling in your heart… That’s what today’s Extraordinary Women Radio guest, Alyse Nelson, the CEO  and President of Vital Voices did. And it all started for her when she was 21 years old. Alyse heard a calling that she needed to be at the United Nations Annual Conference on Women, in Beijing China… and she made it happen. And that decision changed her life forever.

She left that conference with a deep knowing that she wanted to make a difference in the world!

This conference led Alyse on a pathway that would have her co-founding Vital Voices with Hilary Rodham Clinton. I can’t wait to share her story with you and the incredible work that Vital Voices does around the world.

Vital Voices, is the leading NGO that identifies, trains and invests in emerging women leaders, enabling them to create a better world for us all! Alyse has worked with women leaders since 1996 to develop mentoring and training programs in over 140 countries and has interviewed more than 200 international leaders.

I had the wonderful opportunity to get to sit next to Alyse last month at a small breakfast at a beautiful home in Vail. I’m so blown away by the amazing women who cross my path – and it was such an honor to get to know Alyse. I couldn’t have been more thrilled that she said yes to an Extraordinary Women Radio interview. So let’s dig in and meet Alyse Nelson of Vital Voices.  Vital Voices on Twitter. Alyse on Twitter.
